Ward Eight

4 oz whiskey
1 oz lemon juice
1 oz orange juice
2 tsp grenadine

shaken

Lemon juice separates. Kinda bland.

4 oz bourbon
1 oz dry vermouth
0.5 oz creme de casis

stir

split between 2 old fashioned glasses
soak sugar cube in bitters
muddle sugar with orange and cherry
add whiskey
add ice
add soda

3 oz whiskey
.75 oz orange liqueur
.75 oz sweet vermouth
.75 oz lime juice

shaken

4 oz rye
1 oz dry vermouth
2 dashes bitters

stir, add marachino cherry
variations: substitute whiskey or bourbon for rye or substitute sweet vermouth for dry

4 oz vodka
2 oz limoncello
1 oz lemon juice
.25 oz raspberry liquor
dash lemon bitters
